Job summary

Roche Diagnostics in Rotkreuz, Switzerland invites a data-driven student or intern to join a multidisciplinary team focused on data processing, visualization, and workflow optimization for point-of-care instruments.

You will design and maintain data pipelines, implement analytics tools, and work with Python, SQL/NoSQL, and dashboards while learning from a supportive development team. Starts January 2027 for 12 months.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a university or completed Master’s in the past 12 months in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); German a plus.
• Experience with Python required; MATLAB a plus.
• Proficient with GitLab and collaborative codebases.
• Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL) is a big plus.
• Experience with Dash or GUI dashboards is a plus.
• Experience with AI or LLMs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data solutions that meet requirements.
• Build, improve and maintain data processing pipelines.
• Design data models to support data analytics and reporting.
• Design and implement data analytics tools and perform QA testing for data accuracy.
• Identify opportunities to improve data workflows and processes.
