Job summary

Roche Diagnostics in Rotkreuz, Switzerland offers an internship in Near Patient Care R&D focused on data processing and analytics. You will design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and visualization tools to enable faster, more reliable decisions within a multidisciplinary team.

The role provides supervision tailored to your needs in a collaborative, international environment and an opportunity to deepen knowledge in data processing techniques and tools for real-world projects with blood gas

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a university or have completed a Master’s degree within the past 12 months in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Fluent in English (written and spoken); German is a plus.
Experience with Python is required; MATLAB is a plus.
Proficient with GitLab and collaborative codebases.
Able to deliver clear and well-documented code.
Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL, etc.) is a big plus.
Experience with app frameworks like Dash or built/deployed GUI tools is a plus.
Experience with agentic AI or LLM is a plus.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data solutions that meet their requirements.
Build, improve and maintain data processing pipelines.
Design and implement data models to support data analytics and reporting.
Design and implement data analytics tools and conduct quality assurance testing to ensure accuracy and completeness of data.
Identify opportunities to improve data workflows and processes.
