Lonza in Visp is seeking a Data Engineer for the Process Analytics & Data Intelligence (PADI) team embedded in Operations. You will design, build, and operate a production-ready data foundation that unifies process, execution, and development data for MSAT, Process Development, Operations and global data teams.

Qualifikationen

• Experience designing and implementing production-grade data pipelines in manufacturing.
• Strong SQL skills and data modeling for high-volume workloads.
• Hands-on ETL/ELT development across process, execution, and operational data.
• Practical knowledge of OT systems (MES, PI Historian) and instrument data.
• GxP-regulated data governance, lineage, and compliance familiarity.

Aufgaben

• Design, build, and operate automated data pipelines across distributed data stores and systems into a coherent data foundation.
• Replace manual data handling with governed, traceable data flows for daily operations.
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure reliability at scale.
• Deliver analytics-ready datasets to BI, analytics, and modeling layers.
• Collaborate with MSAT, Process Development, Automation, QA, IT and global data teams.
• Improve pipeline performance and maintainability aligned with priorities.
