Zusammenfassung

Randstad Group seeks two Senior Data Engineers to own end-to-end data solutions in our Reporting Analytics Hub. You will design, implement, and maintain Azure-based data pipelines for reporting, analytics, and invoicing, translating business needs into scalable architecture and enabling SAP interfaces.

You will build scalable data models, streaming pipelines with Kafka, and Power BI reports, collaborating with requirements engineers and stakeholders to refine evolving needs in German and English.

Qualifikationen

• Senior Data Engineer with enterprise-scale experience.
• Proficient in Azure Data Platform and PySpark development.
• Strong knowledge of data modelling and invoicing data structures.
• Experience with streaming data and event-driven architectures (Kafka).
• Proficient in SAP interfaces and Power BI reporting.
• Professional German and English language skills.

We are looking for two experienced Senior Data Engineers to take end-to-end technical ownership within our strategic Reporting Analytics Hub (RAH). In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain scalable Azure-based data solutions for reporting, analytics, and invoicing use cases. You will translate complex business needs into sustainable technical architecture, ensuring seamless data integration across event-driven technologies, enterprise data models, and SAP interfaces.

Your Responsibilities

• End-to-End Solution Ownership: Drive reporting, analytics, and invoicing capabilities within RAH across the complete project and delivery lifecycle.
• Data Architecture & Modelling: Design and implement scalable, enterprise-grade data models optimized for reporting and invoicing workflows.
• Azure & PySpark Engineering: Develop and maintain cloud-native data pipelines and solutions using PySpark and the broader Azure Data Platform.
• Data Integration & Streaming: Ingest and process structured and streaming data delivered via sFTP, Kafka, and event-driven architectures.
• Invoicing & SAP Enablement: Support core invoicing processes by accurately preparing invoicing volumes and managing interfaces toward SAP systems.
• Reporting & Stakeholder Collaboration: Deliver internal and external reporting solutions using Power BI, working closely with Requirements Engineers and business stakeholders to refine evolving requirements.

What You Bring to the Team

• Senior Data Engineering Experience: Proven track record as a Senior Data Engineer working in enterprise-scale environments.
• Azure & PySpark Expertise: Deep technical mastery of the Azure Data Platform and PySpark development.
• Data Modelling & Invoicing Domain: Strong knowledge of scalable reporting architectures, data modelling, and invoicing/billing processes and data structures.
• Streaming & Event-Driven Systems: Practical experience with real-time data processing and streaming technologies (e.g., Apache Kafka).
• Analytics & Visualization: Hands-on experience building analytics and reporting solutions with Power BI.
• Language Skills: High professional proficiency (Very Well) in both German and English, both spoken and written.
