Qualifikationen

• Expérience en Data Architect/Solution Architect/Lead Data Engineer ou rôle équivalent.
• Connaissance forte en modélisation, intégration et principes d'architecture des données.
• Conception de data warehouses/lakes/lakehouses.
• Hands-on sur les plateformes modernes (Fabric, Azure, AWS, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake, Synapse, dbt, Airflow).
• Gouvernance, qualité et sécurité des données.
• Capacité à traduire les besoins métier en solutions architecturales.
• Excellentes compétences en communication et gestion des parties prenantes.
• Maîtrise du français et de l'anglais.

Aufgaben

• Concevoir des architectures de données de bout en bout alignées sur les objectifs métier et technologiques.
• Définir les modèles de données, les patterns d'intégration et les standards architecturaux.
• Guider les clients dans la construction de plateformes data cloud évolutives et de solutions analytiques.
• Évaluer les paysages de données existants et définir des architectures cibles et des roadmaps.
• Intégrer les prinicpes de gouvernance, sécurité et qualité dans les designs.
• Collaborer avec les équipes d'ingénierie pour traduire l'architecture en solutions réalisables.
• Agir comme conseiller de confiance, animer des ateliers et présenter des recommandations.

Join Orange Business in Geneva as a Data Architect Consultant, designing future-proof data architectures and guiding clients on their data transformation journey.

The team, position & mission:

As a Data Architect Consultant, you will help our clients design and evolve modern data platforms that enable data-driven decision-making and digital transformation. Working alongside Data Engineers, Cloud Architects, Analytics Consultants and Business Stakeholders, you will translate business needs into scalable, secure and future-proof data architectures.

You will be involved in client engagements across a range of industries, advising on data strategy, architecture best practices and technology choices. From designing enterprise-wide data platforms to supporting cloud migrations and modern analytics initiatives, you will play a key role in helping organizations unlock the value of their data. Depending on the project, you may work with technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Platform, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Snowflake, Synapse Analytics, dbt, and Airflow to deliver modern data warehouse and lakehouse solutions.

Your key areas of responsibility as Data Architect:

• Design end-to-end data architectures aligned with business and technology objectives.
• Define data models, integration patterns and architecture standards.
• Guide clients in building scalable cloud-based data platforms and analytics solutions.
• Assess existing data landscapes and define target-state architectures and transformation roadmaps.
• Ensure data governance, security and quality principles are embedded in solution designs.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to translate architecture into implementable solutions.
• Act as a trusted advisor, facilitating workshops and presenting recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.

As an ideal candidate you have:

• Experience as a Data Architect, Solution Architect, Lead Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of data modelling, data integration and modern data architecture principles.
• Experience designing data warehouses, data lakes and/or lakehouse architectures.
• Hands‑on experience with modern data platforms, including Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Databricks, Snowflake, Synapse Analytics, dbt, Airflow, and/or similar technologies.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality and data security concepts.
• Ability to translate business requirements into pragmatic architectural solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working directly with clients.
• Fluency in French and English.
• Relevant cloud, data or architecture certifications are a plus.
