Job summary

Orange Business is seeking a Data Architect Consultant to design and evolve modern data platforms that enable data-driven decision-making and digital transformation. You will work with data engineers, cloud architects, analytics consultants, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, secure data architectures.

Projects span multiple industries and you may use Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Platform, Databricks, Snowflake, Synapse Analytics, dbt, and Airflow for modern

Qualifications

• Experience designing end-to-end data architectures that align with business goals.
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.
• Strong knowledge of data modelling, integration patterns and architecture standards.
• Hands-on experience with modern data platforms (Microsoft Fabric, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Databricks, Snowflake, Synapse).
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality and security concepts.

The team, position & mission:

As a Data Architect Consultant, you will help our clients design and evolve modern data platforms that enable data-driven decision-making and digital transformation. Working alongside Data Engineers, Cloud Architects, Analytics Consultants and Business Stakeholders, you will translate business needs into scalable, secure and future-proof data architectures.

You will be involved in client engagements across a range of industries, advising on data strategy, architecture best practices and technology choices. From designing enterprise-wide data platforms to supporting cloud migrations and modern analytics initiatives, you will play a key role in helping organizations unlock the value of their data. Depending on the project, you may work with technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Platform, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Snowflake, Synapse Analytics, dbt, and Airflow to deliver modern data warehouse and lakehouse solutions.

Your key areas of responsibility as Data Architect:

As an ideal candidate you have:

• Experience as a Data Architect, Solution Architect, Lead Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of data modelling, data integration and modern data architecture principles.
• Experience designing data warehouses, data lakes and/or lakehouse architectures.
• Hands-on experience with modern data platforms, including Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Databricks, Snowflake, Synapse Analytics, dbt, Airflow, and/or similar technologies.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality and data security concepts.
• Ability to translate business requirements into pragmatic architectural solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working directly with clients.
• Fluency in French and English.
• Relevant cloud, data or architecture certifications are a plus.
