Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Home Economics, Life Management, Family and Consumer Studies, Dietetics, Food Management, Interior Design, or Clothing and Textiles.
• Or an Associate degree with four years of professional experience related to the subject of the course taught.
• Possession of a full‑time, clear California Designated Subjects Adult Education Teaching Credential authorizing instruction in the subject of the course taught.
• The equivalent.

Aufgaben

• Teach a mix of lecture and lab classes and be available to students outside of class.
• Provide instruction in line with curriculum and course outlines.
• Maintain professional conduct and ethics.
• Keep current knowledge in the subject areas.
• Fulfill responsibilities of a part‑time/temporary faculty member.
• Teach all scheduled classes.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Create an environment focused on teaching and learning and encourage open discussion.

Ausbildung

Bachelor’s degree in Home Economics, Life Management, Family and Consumer Studies, Dietetics, Food Management, Interior Design, or Clothing and Textiles

Associate degree in Home Economics, Life Management, Family and Consumer Studies, Dietetics, Food Management, Interior Design, or Clothing and Textiles AND four (4) years of professional experience related to the subject of the course taught

Possession of a full‑time, clear California Designated Subjects Adult Education Teaching Credential authorizing instruction in the subject of the course taught
