IMC is seeking a Mid Office Associate for an onsite role in Zug, Switzerland to support day-to-day post-trade operations and gather business requirements from traders, Finance, Risk and Tech, partnering with developers to streamline processes.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in finance/economics/STEM (or equivalent) and 3+ years in trading operations or middle office; Python and SQL skills, data handling, strong communication, and ownership are essential, with crypto exposure a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, STEM or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years in trading operations, middle office, product control, or related function; crypto/digital asset experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience building automated workflows.

Aufgaben

• Perform daily reconciliation of positions, trades, and cash/token balances across CeFi, DeFi, and OTC counterparties.
• Calculate and substantiate daily P&L across multiple asset types.
• Investigate and resolve trade breaks, valuation discrepancies, and settlement issues.
• Build and maintain Python-based tools to automate reconciliation, reporting, and analysis workflows.
• Query and manage data across internal databases to support reconciliation, reporting, and ad hoc analysis.
• Synthesize complex situations into clear, actionable deliverables for traders and senior management.
• Partner with technology teams to scope and prioritize enhancements to reconciliation and valuation systems.
• Gather requirements from Trading, Finance, Risk, Technology to improve Mid Office processes.
