Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Creative Design Supervisor based in Switzerland.

As a Creative Design Supervisor, you will lead a team of designers, overseeing daily operations, creative quality, and the delivery of high-impact visual content. You will combine strong graphic design expertise with people management skills to ensure projects align with brand positioning and business objectives. In this role, you will guide creative development, provide constructive feedback, and support designers through mentorship, regular one-to-one meetings, and professional development opportunities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, manage priorities, and ensure projects are delivered on time and to a consistently high standard. You will also contribute directly to design projects when needed while driving continuous improvement across the team's processes and standards. This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing international technology environment that values creativity, autonomy, innovation, and the smart use of AI tools.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead daily design operations: Organize the team's workload, allocate tasks, set priorities, and balance capacity to ensure efficient execution and timely project delivery.
  • Oversee creative quality: Conduct regular design reviews, provide clear and constructive feedback, and ensure all visual deliverables meet established quality standards and brand guidelines.
  • Develop and mentor designers: Hold regular one-to-one meetings, support individual growth, delegate responsibilities, and create opportunities for team members to develop their skills and take on new challenges.
  • Drive creative excellence: Guide conceptual thinking and the development of creative solutions that align with brand positioning, audience needs, and business objectives.
  • Monitor project performance: Track deadlines, identify operational risks, remove blockers, and elevate issues when additional support or decisions are required.
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration: Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders and partner teams regarding project progress, priorities, expectations, and deadlines.
  • Improve design processes: Establish and refine workflows, standards, and best practices to increase productivity, consistency, and the overall effectiveness of the design function.
  • Apply data-driven design principles: Use analytics, design hypotheses, and product KPIs to inform creative decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Leverage AI and automation: Introduce AI-powered tools and automation where appropriate to streamline repetitive tasks, improve workflows, and free up time for higher-value creative work.
  • Contribute to hands-on design work: Take an active role in executing design tasks when necessary while maintaining a strong focus on team leadership and operational management.
Requirements:
  • Graphic design expertise: Strong knowledge of graphic design principles, visual communication, creative development, and the production of high-quality design assets.
  • Team leadership experience: Proven experience managing a team of designers, organizing workloads, setting priorities, providing feedback, and supporting professional development.
  • Creative and conceptual thinking: Ability to develop original, effective creative concepts that reflect brand positioning and respond to business and audience needs.
  • Analytical mindset: Experience interpreting analytics, developing and evaluating design hypotheses, and using performance insights to inform creative decisions.
  • Business and product understanding: Familiarity with business objectives, product performance indicators, and KPIs, with the ability to align design activities with broader organizational goals.
  • Design review and coaching skills: Experience evaluating creative work, delivering constructive feedback, mentoring team members, and maintaining consistent quality standards.
  • Workflow and project management: Strong prioritization, workload planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Process optimization: Experience developing, documenting, and improving design workflows, standards, and team practices.
  • Communication and stakeholder management: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams, communicate expectations clearly, and resolve operational challenges.
  • AI tool proficiency: Practical experience using AI-powered tools to improve design workflows, automate repetitive activities, or enhance creative productivity.
  • Preferred qualifications: Experience in the iGaming industry, a working understanding of UX/UI fundamentals, and knowledge of user psychology, gamification, and behavioral engagement techniques are advantageous but not essential.
  • Personal attributes: A proactive, collaborative, and adaptable approach, with a willingness to challenge outdated practices, embrace ambitious projects, share ideas openly, and continuously pursue creative and professional growth.
Benefits:
  • Flexible work arrangements: Work remotely or from available office hubs in Kyiv and Warsaw, with flexibility to choose a comfortable and suitable working environment.
  • Paid time off: Enjoy 20 working days of paid leave, public holidays, and sick leave to support a healthy work-life balance.
  • Healthcare and mental well-being: Access medical insurance at leading clinics and financial coverage for psychological support through the Pleso platform.
  • Flexible lifestyle benefits: Receive a monthly Benefit Café allowance to spend on personal interests, hobbies, sports, and other eligible activities.
  • Learning and development: Benefit from an individual learning budget, corporate English lessons, workshops, and access to an online learning library.
  • Career progression: Access a structured career development plan, performance reviews, mentoring programs, and training opportunities to support your professional growth.
  • Team culture and social activities: Participate in workshops, team-building activities, company events, and initiatives that encourage collaboration and community engagement.
  • Modern technology environment: Work with teams that develop technology solutions, embrace automation, and encourage innovative approaches to creative problem-solving.
  • Autonomy and flexibility: Enjoy a culture that values initiative, open communication, creative freedom, and streamlined decision-making rather than unnecessary bureaucracy.
  • Collaborative and inclusive environment: Join a team that values positive working relationships, constructive feedback, shared achievements, and opportunities to make a meaningful contribution.
