JMG Solutions Ltd is recruiting a site-based Construction Manager for a major data centre project in the Zurich region, Switzerland. You will directly manage General Contractors and specialist subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality, programme delivery and risk control throughout construction.

Key responsibilities include leading day-to-day activities, overseeing MEP scopes, and supporting commissioning, snagging and handover. Swiss work eligibility and mobility within one month are required.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience as a Construction Manager on large-scale data centre projects.
• Strong MEP construction background and coordination skills.
• Experience managing General Contractors and specialist subcontractors.
• Full lifecycle delivery from construction through commissioning and handover.
• Strong understanding of safety, quality, programme and risk management.
• Swiss right to work – Permit B/C or EU/EFTA nationality.
• Availability to mobilise within one month.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Construction Manager to join a major data centre project in the Zurich region, Switzerland.

This is a site-based Construction Manager position, responsible for the direct management and coordination of General Contractors and specialist subcontractors throughout the construction delivery phase.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate day-to-day construction activities across the project.
• Manage General Contractors and specialist subcontractors, with a strong focus on safety, quality, programme and risk.
• Oversee MEP construction activities across mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection scopes.
• Support the project through construction, commissioning, snagging and handover.
• Coordinate commissioning activities, change control, vendor interfaces and data hall fit-out requirements.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience as a Construction Manager on large-scale data centre projects, ideally hyperscale or colocation.
• Strong MEP construction background.
• Demonstrable experience managing General Contractors and specialist subcontractors.
• Full project lifecycle experience from construction through to commissioning and handover.
• Strong understanding of construction delivery, programme, quality, safety and risk management.
• Experience with commissioning processes, change control, vendor coordination and data hall fit-out.
• Swiss right to work – Permit B/C or EU/EFTA nationality.
• Availability to mobilise within one month.
