Sony’s Advanced Visual Sensing (AVS) group in Zurich seeks an ambitious Computer Vision Research Intern to develop algorithm prototypes and demos for Sony sensors. You will work on demonstration prototypes with camera hardware and help build a strong technology portfolio from the ground up.

The role is based in Zurich and starts around October/November 2026, lasting six months with student enrollment ongoing.

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing or holding an MSc in Computer Science or Engineering (Robotics, Mechanical, Electrical, or similar).
• Strong foundation in computer vision and machine learning theory.
• Proficient in Python, C++, or similar languages; good communication in English.

Aufgaben

• Develop algorithms and prototypes for Sony sensors in a collaborative R&D team.
• Work on demonstration prototypes with camera hardware and validate commercial applications.
• Collaborate with the wider team to improve processes, software, and tools.
