Join the Sony Advanced Visual Sensing (AVS) group, an R&D center of Sony Semiconductor Solutions in Zurich, Switzerland. We specialize in developing innovative computer vision algorithms and sensing systems, working with the wide range of sensors offered by Sony. This includes the latest CMOS cameras, event-based vision sensors and others. We’re a small and dynamic team where everybody can talk to everybody and give input on any topic at any time. We aim to give people the space to learn new things and develop themselves.
To speed up ongoing activities to validate commercial applications of our sensors, we are seeking a skilled, motivated, and software proficient Computer Vision Research Intern (m/f) to conduct algorithm development, work on demonstration prototypes with camera hardware and help to build a strong technology portfolio from bottom up.
This internship is based in Zurich and should preferably start in October or November 2026.
In general, internship positions should last 6 months. Note that applicants must maintain student enrollment at an accredited university throughout the internship period.
