Cerrion, a Zurich-based AI startup, is seeking a senior machine learning/vision engineer to tackle high-impact computer vision challenges and scale our platform for global deployment.

You will prototype next-gen vision use cases, drive ML infrastructure, and collaborate with backend teams to deploy end-to-end solutions while mentoring juniors in a fast-growing, YC-backed environment in central Zurich.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in applied computer vision, delivering scalable solutions.
• Deep learning expertise with up-to-date algorithms.
• Proficiency in PyTorch and Python with scientific libraries.
• Strong software engineering practices: Git, CI/CD, testing, clean code.
• MLOps experience and deployment tooling.
• Docker & Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience.
• Master's degree or higher in CS, EE, or related field.
• Fluent English and collaborative communication.

Your Role

• Tackle Advanced Vision Challenges: Solve high-impact, complex computer vision problems.
• Innovate & Prototype: Develop and test next-gen vision use cases.
• Scale Vision Systems: Optimize our computer vision platform for global, production-grade deployment.
• Drive ML Infrastructure: Shape our machine learning stack and tools to enhance vision capabilities.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Integrate closely with backend engineers to deploy solutions.
• Stay Cutting-Edge: Research and apply the latest vision techniques to maintain industry leadership.
• Mentorship: Guide and inspire junior engineers with hands-on leadership.

• 5+ Years in Applied Computer Vision: Proven record delivering scalable vision solutions.
• Deep Learning Expertise: Strong knowledge of the latest algorithms and methods.
• Proficient in PyTorch & Python: Exceptional coding skills, including familiarity with scientific libraries.
• Solid Engineering Practices: Git, CI/CD, testing, and clean code.
