IC Resources in Zürich is partnering with a well-funded deep-tech company to hire a senior Compiler Engineer. The role sits at the centre of the compiler stack, collaborating with hardware and architecture teams to map real-world AI and signal-processing workloads onto custom silicon.

You'll bring strong C++ and Python, experience with MLIR/LLVM, lowering AI or DSP operations, and a track record in code generation, performance tuning, and building benchmarking and regression tooling.

I’m supporting a well-funded deep-tech company in Zürich that is building a new compute platform focused on improving performance, latency and energy efficiency across AI and signal-processing workloads.

The role sits at the centre of their compiler stack, working closely with hardware and architecture teams to help map real-world workloads efficiently onto custom silicon. They are looking for a senior Compiler Engineer with experience across areas such as:

• MLIR LLVM
• Lowering AI or DSP operations
• Code generation and kernel development
• Performance optimisation
• Benchmarking, profiling and regression infrastructure
• HW/SW co-design

Strong C++ and Python experience would be important, along with a solid understanding of low-level systems, memory, performance and working from hardware specs.

This would suit someone who enjoys building compiler technology that has a direct impact on real hardware performance.
