You will lead cross-functional efforts bridging compiler design with hardware considerations, collaborate with academia and industry, and contribute to open-source ecosystems while optimizing across GPUs, NPUs, and accelerators.

Qualifikationen

• Education: MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Core expertise: Strong background in compiler construction and computer architecture.
• Hands-on tools: Proven experience with LLVM, GCC, or modern AI compiler frameworks like MLIR, TVM, or XLA.
• Deep technical knowledge: Understanding of optimization techniques and specialized hardware architectures.
• System understanding: Grasp of microarchitecture concepts, memory hierarchies, and SIMD/VLIW execution.
• Experience in AI system optimization and hardware-aware compilation.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
• Active contributions to compiler research or open-source systems.

Aufgaben

• Design, validate, and evolve advanced compiler infrastructures and optimization algorithms.
• Drive deep optimization across compiler and hardware boundaries for GPUs, TPUs, NPUs, and custom accelerators.
• Evaluate and innovate within traditional compiler ecosystems (LLVM, GCC) and modern AI compiler stacks (MLIR, TVM, Triton, XLA).
• Lead external research collaborations with academic and industrial partners and contribute to open-source ecosystem initiatives.
