BKW Group is seeking a Communications Lead to head a four-to-five person team and shape group-wide communications across strategy, sustainability, HR, finance, and AI. They will work within the newsroom model and regularly take on newsdesk duties, influencing ongoing activities.

The role involves advising top management on complex topics, supporting change projects, and managing communications during reporting periods and major meetings. Strong leadership and linguistic skills are essential.

Communications Lead - Group Topics

Your area of responsibility

• You lead an experienced team of four to five employees and create the framework in which you jointly develop effective communication
• You and your team are responsible for communication on group-wide topics from strategy and sustainability to HR and finance to AI and innovation, working within the newsroom model
• In the newsroom, you regularly take on newsdesk duties and actively shape the current communication activities
• You advise top management on demanding communication topics and accompany change projects with various internal and external stakeholders
• Around business and half-year reporting as well as the general meeting, you take on the project management of communication
• In corporate publishing, you are responsible for key formats such as the annual report and the employee magazine "Inmotion" and also bring your experience to BKW's disruption and crisis communication

What you bring

• Many years of experience in corporate communication provide you with a solid foundation to effectively manage even complex and sensitive topics
• You are familiar with working with C-level stakeholders and understand how to incorporate different perspectives and develop viable solutions
• In a comparable role, you have already taken on professional or personnel responsibility and support people in achieving good results together
• Even when several topics demand attention simultaneously, you work independently, in a structured manner, and keep an eye on the big picture
• With sound skills in writing, consulting, and methodology, you translate complex content into clear and target-group-appropriate communication
• You have very good knowledge of German, French, and English; in addition, you have a degree or further training in communication, media studies, or a comparable field
