Zusammenfassung

DBS Asia Hub is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design and build a hybrid cloud data platform capable of running heavy analytics and AI/ML modelling tasks. You will contribute to scalable data collection, processing, and analysis in GCP, supporting data scientists and engineers.

Responsibilities include implementing scalable cloud components, collaborating with system architects, and applying Agile, CI/CD, and TDD practices to deliver robust cloud solutions.

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including deploying and managing infrastructure.
• Experience architecting GCP production workloads in a hybrid cloud environment.
• Proficiency with Terraform to automate provisioning, configuration management, and orchestration within GCP.
• Hands-on experience with containers and containers orchestrators (Kubernetes, Docker) in GCP.
• Hands-on experience with Dataproc and BigQuery.
• Experience with Apache Spark and schema formats (Avro, Parquet).
• Understanding of infrastructure monitoring, log analysis, and automation for incident response in GCP.
• Ability to instrument, validate, and automate security controls within GCP.
• Demonstrable cloud architecture or development experience on GCP with associate or specialist certification.
• Manage and resolve operational issues as L2/L3.

Aufgaben

• Design and implement key components for scalable, distributed data collection and analysis in the cloud.
• Collaborate with analytics system architects and adopt best practices in backend infrastructure for ML/agentic workloads.
• Implement core Agile practices, cloud-native architecture, and CI/CD/TDD principles.
• Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new cloud technologies to maximize analytical system performance.
