The Swatch Group Services IT division is seeking an experienced cloud networking engineer to design, deploy, and optimize Akamai and Azure networking solutions. You will implement edge caching, routing, and security measures across hybrid environments, ensuring high performance and strong governance.

You should have 5+ years in cloud networking, proficiency in IaC and scripting, and be fluent in English and French; German is a plus. This role is based in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in cloud networking, network security, CDN, or infra engineering.
• Proficiency in Azure networking, VPNs, DNS, load balancing, and segmentation.
• Experience with Akamai or similar CDN solutions and Azure DevOps/GitLab CI.
• Certifications such as Azure AZ-700/AZ-500/AZ-305, or Akamai PCNSE are a plus.

The Job

In this role, you will :

• Design, deploy, and optimize Akamai solutions (Ion, Image Manager, Kona Site Defender, EdgeWorkers) to ensure high performance, availability and security
• Implement edge caching strategies, traffic offload, acceleration techniques, and bot management capabilities to improve web performance and security
• Design and maintain Azure networking services including Virtual Networks, Hub & Spoke architectures, Virtual WAN, Azure Firewall, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, Application Gateway, and Load Balancers
• Implement and manage Azure Landing Zones aligned with governance, security, and connectivity standards
• Design and maintain Azure routing, network segmentation, and hybrid connectivity solutions across cloud and on-premises environments
• Manage security controls across Akamai and Azure platforms, including WAF, DDoS protection, firewall policies, and private connectivity
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams to integrate CDN, cloud, and network services
• Develop and maintain automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and CI/CD solutions
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize CDN, cloud, and network services
• Contribute to technical standards, governance, and best practices for cloud networking, security, and hybrid infrastructures

Your Profile

• Strong knowledge of Azure networking services and cloud connectivity architectures
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking concepts including routing, switching, VPN technologies, DNS, load balancing, and network segmentation
• Experience with Azure Landing Zone design and implementation
• Good knowledge of network security technologies including firewalls, VPN, WAF, and DDoS protection
• Experience with CDN technologies (Akamai or equivalent solutions) and CI/CD platforms such as Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, or equivalent
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible) and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills across cloud, network, and security domains

Professional Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in cloud networking, network security, CDN, or infrastructure engineering
• Effective communication across technical and non-technical teams
• Detail-oriented and precise in execution
• Certifications such as Azure Network Engineer (AZ-700), Azure Security Engineer (AZ-500), Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-305), Palo Alto PCNSE, and Akamai Certified Professional are a plus
