The SWATCH Group is seeking a cloud networking engineer to design, deploy, and optimize Akamai solutions (Ion, Image Manager, Kona Site Defender, EdgeWorkers) alongside Azure networking services. You will implement edge caching strategies, traffic offload, and security controls across WAF, DDoS protection, and private connectivity.

You will collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams to align governance, security, and hybrid connectivity standards while developing IaC, CI/CD

Aufgaben

• Design, deploy, and optimize Akamai solutions (Ion, Image Manager, Kona Site Defender, EdgeWorkers) to ensure high performance, availability and security
• Implement edge caching strategies, traffic offload, acceleration techniques, and bot management capabilities to improve web performance and security
• Design and maintain Azure networking services including Virtual Networks, Hub & Spoke architectures, Virtual WAN, Azure Firewall, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, Application Gateway, and Load Balancers
• Implement and manage Azure Landing Zones aligned with governance, security, and connectivity standards
• Design and maintain Azure routing, network segmentation, and hybrid connectivity solutions across cloud and on-premises environments
• Manage security controls across Akamai and Azure platforms, including WAF, DDoS protection, firewall policies, and private connectivity
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams to integrate CDN, cloud, and network services
• Develop and maintain automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and CI/CD solutions
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize CDN, cloud, and network services
• Contribute to technical standards, governance, and best practices for cloud networking, security, and hybrid infrastructures

In this role, you will :
