Big Science Sweden is seeking a motivated individual to join CERN’s Cloud Enablement Team in Geneva, Switzerland. In this position, you will facilitate the adoption and operation of public cloud platforms like AWS and Azure. Candidates should possess a Master's degree and have 2 to 6 years of professional experience (or a PhD with up to 3 years). You will work closely with engineers, focusing on automation, cost monitoring, and building tools for efficient cloud service use.

Join CERN’s Cloud Enablement Team and help shape how public cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Azure are adopted and operated. In this role, you will work at the intersection of software development, data analysis and cloud operations, building tooling and insights that enable teams to use public cloud services responsibly and efficiently.

You will collaborate closely with senior engineers, cloud architects and project teams, contributing hands-on to automation, cost monitoring and reporting for real production workloads. • You are a national of aCERN Member State or Associate Member State . Currently, we cannot consider applications from Pakistani and Lithuanian nationals for positions with a 2026 start date, as the ceiling defined under Article II.5 of the Associate Membership Agreement has been reached.
• By the application deadline, you have a master’s degree with 2 to 6 years of professional experience since graduation or a PhD with a maximum of 3 years of professional experience since graduation. You are not eligible with only a bachelor’s degree.
• You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
