ANSAM Group is seeking a Cloud - Database Engineer to design and operate distributed data environments across multi-cloud and hybrid architectures in Switzerland. You will ensure data consistency, performance, and resilience while enabling automated database operations and security.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Database Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in database administration or engineering, preferably within cloud-native and distributed environments.
• Strong expertise in hybrid and multi-cloud database deployments.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server, Azure SQL, MongoDB, or equivalent relational and NoSQL technologies.
• Knowledge of automation, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.

Aufgaben

• Develop and manage distributed database solutions supporting microservices and service-oriented architectures.
• Establish and maintain data ownership models, including database-per-service architectures.
• Administer and optimise relational and NoSQL databases based on business and technical requirements.
• Build and operate database platforms across hybrid and multi-cloud environments, including Azure, AWS, and Alibaba Cloud.
• Ensure database performance, scalability, availability, and resilience.
• Maintain data integrity, synchronisation, and event-driven data flows across systems.
• Automate database provisioning and operations using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD.
• Implement monitoring, backup, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Contribute to data governance and Master Data consistency across the technology landscape.
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure data protection and regulatory compliance.
