Zusammenfassung

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Geneva, Switzerland, seeks a senior leader to head Information Governance. You will shape the information lifecycle, drive AI readiness and ensure policy compliance, partnering with ICT and operations across global contexts.

You will oversee governance frameworks, develop strategic initiatives for information management as a service, and coordinate with cybersecurity teams to protect assets in crisis situations.

Qualifikationen

• Advanced university degree in information management, information science, data science or related field.
• At least 15 years overall experience with 10+ in information governance, data management or data architecture.
• Proven track record leading enterprise document management systems (DMS) or SharePoint.
• Experience preparing unstructured data environments for AI integration.
• Experience supporting executive leadership in high-pressure crises.

Aufgaben

• Define and champion information governance strategy aligned with institutional goals.
• Advise executive leadership on information as a strategic asset and operational efficiency.
• Lead integration of AI/machine learning into information governance and ensure policies.
• Own and oversee the Information Governance Framework and maturity roadmap.
• Develop and implement policies for information handling, lifecycle management and security.
