HITACHI ENERGY LTD in Switzerland seeks a Facility Technician – Chemical Utilities to ensure safe, reliable operation of critical utility systems supporting production. You will operate, maintain and repair process gas, ultrapure water, chemical supply, wastewater and cooling water systems.

Ideal candidates have a technical apprenticeship or vocational training with hands-on experience in industrial utilities, strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety.

Qualifikationen

• Completed technical apprenticeship or vocational training in a related field.
• Experience operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting industrial utility or infrastructure systems.
• Knowledge of safety, environmental protection and relevant regulatory requirements.

Aufgaben

• Operate, maintain, and repair utility systems including process gas, ultrapure water, chemical supply, wastewater treatment and cooling water systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and implement corrective and continuous improvement measures.
• Execute and document maintenance activities and manage spare parts through the maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Support the operation and upkeep of site-wide infrastructure across multiple technical disciplines.
• Coordinate logistics related to procurement, handling, replacement and disposal of chemicals and gases.
• Monitor compliance with operational specifications, safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Operate building management, fire alarm, gas detection and other safety-critical equipment.
• Support infrastructure projects, commissioning activities and KPI reporting related to maintenance, costs, projects and budgets.
• Be available for 24/7 operations and on-call duty as needed.
