Oettinger Davidoff AG in Basel seeks a Category Manager for Accessories & POS (m/f/x) to own ACC and POS categories, manage material, cost and sustainability, and drive procurement from development through launch. Qualifikationen

• University degree in business or supply chain; procurement-related training preferred.
• Experience in purchasing within category management and accessories/POS development, luxury/spirits/tobacco preferred.
• Experience with SAP MM and SD modules.
• Strong MS Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills; strategic and solution-oriented.
• Project management skills with ownership mindset.
• Sustainability, material compliance, and recycling expertise.
• Experience with international suppliers and regulated markets.
• Knowledge of JIRA and Appian is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Own ACC and POS categories within Procurement New Products and Developments.
• Manage material, quality, cost, and sustainability requirements.
• Prepare decision-making documentation for Head of Procurement New Product & Development.
• Prepare and ensure series production approvals for all orders.
• Collaborate with Product Development during development process.
• Manage sample, feedback, and approval processes.
• Lead independent procurement-to-launch projects.
• Assess feasibility, costs, MOQs, timelines, and risks.
• Coordinate with suppliers during development and optimization phases.
• Be the primary contact for international ACC & POS suppliers.
• Maintain material master data and planning parameters with sales forecasts.
• Handle operational procurement for ACC & POS / inventory management.
• Optimize existing procurement processes.
• Establish and maintain supplier relationships; seek new suppliers.
