Job summary

International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Geneva offers a traineeship focused on capacity-building within the Security and Crisis Management Support (SCMS) Division. You will help run face-to-face activities, assist in course delivery with Learning and Development, and support the development of simulations and learning tools for staff in the field and regional centers.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree, have up to two years of relevant experience, and demonstrate strong English

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Not exceeding two years of work experience including internships.
• Understanding of ICRC mandate and Movement.
• Interest in security, risk or crisis management.
• Ability to organize and facilitate workshops or training.

Responsibilities

• Support capacity-building initiatives, including face-to-face activities.
• Assist in preparation and delivery of courses with Learning and Development in Geneva and regional centers.
• Contribute to Crisis Management Simulations and workshops in Geneva and online.
• Develop didactic tools: videos and VR modules for SCMS.
• Support monitoring and evaluation and capture lessons learned.
• Contribute to internal comms and content for Security Wiki and intranet.
• Maintain knowledge repositories and templates; collaborate with partners.
