Job summary

USD 458 is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Tech to support district grounds, playgrounds, parking and walkways. Immediate start, 12-month term, with pay according to Classified Salary Schedule.

You will perform maintenance, planting, fertilizing, pruning, mowing, and operate equipment safely. Requirements include a valid driver's license, 2–3 years of grounds maintenance experience, and a Health and Inoculation Certificate on file after offer.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a valid Driver's License.
• Two to three years of GroundsMaintenance experience preferred.
• Health and Inoculation Certificate on file after offer.

Responsibilities

• Install, alter, repair and maintain district grounds and equipment.
• Plant shrubs, prune, fertilize and perform landscaping.
• Operate and maintain grounds keeping equipment safely.
• Follow district guidelines and schedules to meet goals.
• Support safety inspections and keep records confidential.
