Job summary

Primera Engineers' Utilities division is seeking a CAD drafter to prepare drawings from engineering and field markups and to coordinate CAD for projects. You will create permit-ready drawings, ensure adherence to company and client standards, and support project teams through file management and documentation.

A detail‑oriented, collaborative candidate with at least one year of AutoCAD or Revit experience and a high school diploma is encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• CAD drafting experience or training with AutoCAD and Revit.
• High school diploma required; further studies a plus.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare drawings and permit exhibits from engineering/field markups.
• Coordinate CAD for projects; assist in initial drawing setup and submittals.
• Assist in file management: scanning, plotting, updating drawing lists.
• Prepare drawings for permits; ensure compliance with local and client requirements.
• Apply company and industry standards; follow guidelines and procedures.
• Archive CAD files per standards; ensure per-project client standards.
• Communicate and coordinate project activities with internal teams.
• Engage with colleagues to learn, grow and enjoy the work.
