Job summary

Neural Concept is seeking an Integration Engineer to collaborate with customers, translating their engineering workflows into practical integration plans that connect PLM, CAD and simulation systems via APIs and automation. You will automate data exchange and job execution across cloud or HPC environments, while feeding field experience back into Neural Concept's core product as features and tooling.

About The Role

You will work with our customers to bring NC's AI into their engineering workflows, solving the strategic integration challenges across PLM, CAD, and simulation systems so they can design better products, faster. The work cuts both ways: a customer unblocked, and field experience built directly back into the product through features, tooling, and reusable integration patterns.

What You Will Do

• Work directly with customers to understand their engineering workflows, constraints, and existing tools, translating that context into practical integration plans.


• Connect NC to customer PLM, CAD, and simulation systems through APIs, scripts, and other automation mechanisms.


• Automate engineering workflows and the associated data exchange, including where relevant the execution and monitoring of jobs across cloud or HPC environments.


• Contribute to NC's core product as a product engineer, turning field experience into features, tooling, and patterns that make future integrations faster.

Who You Are

An engineer at heart, you've grown from mechanical or industrial engineering into automation and software development. Understanding how engineering teams work, and building practical ways to improve their workflows, is what motivates you.

A builder and problem solver at heart, you enjoy challenges with no obvious solution. Stepping beyond familiar tools and methods, learning quickly and testing different approaches are part of the appeal. Whether exploring a poorly documented API or working around a missing integration point, you find a practical way forward. Working alongside customers, you turn those solutions into reliable tools that others can use, maintain and build on.

• Hands-on experience building integrations and automation for engineering workflows preferably involving PLM or CAD systems.


• Solid software engineering skills, including working with APIs, data models and databases. Able to turn scripts and prototypes into reliable, maintainable software through clear design, automated tests and code review.


• Familiarity with CATIA, 3DEXPERIENCE or TeamCenter is a strong plus.


• Good knowledge of simulation workflows and data exchange (FEM, CFD or CAE automation); deeper CAE or HPC experience is a strong plus.


• Clear communication with engineering teams and enthusiasm for working on-site with customers, looking beyond the requested fix to understand the underlying need.


• Travel: Meaningful time on-site with customers (up to a quarter of the time), the rest hybrid with flexible hours. Proximity to the customer compounds into a direct, deep impact on both their process and the product. Lausanne (preferred) or Zurich based.
