Jet Aviation Basel is seeking experienced Workshop Technician – Cabin Installations to join our Basel completions team. You will install and fit cabin interiors on-site inside aircraft, guided by engineering drawings and 3D models, and ensure compliance with safety and airworthiness standards.

Ideal candidates have a cabinet maker background, at least 3 years in aviation cabin outfitting, and a hands-on, precise approach.

Qualifikationen

• Completed cabinet maker apprenticeship or equivalent technical background.
• At least 3 years of aviation experience, ideally in cabin outfitting or interior installation.
• Ability to read technical drawings and work with 3D models.
• Skilled in using tools and working with aeronautical materials.
• Familiarity with Part 145 requirements and aircraft working standards.
• Quality-focused, detail-oriented, and a strong team player.
• Flexible and reliable, with a hands-on approach and a commitment to safety.

Aufgaben

• Install and fit cabin interiors on-site: carry out installation, adjustment, and repair of cabin components such as cabinets, seats, panels, valences, and more—directly inside the aircraft.
• Work with technical documentation: use engineering drawings and 3D models to guide your installations and ensure every detail aligns with customer and regulatory standards.
• Ensure safety and compliance: follow strict safety, quality, and airworthiness standards in accordance with Part 145 regulations and company procedures.
• Work on a wide range of cabin features: handle installation of cabinets, valences, ceiling panels, seats, décor panels, floorboards, window shades, soundproofing, air conditioning, and other basic aircraft components.
• Contribute to continuous improvement: support efforts to improve installation processes, reduce rework, and enhance overall build quality and efficiency.

You’ll be part of our Completions business, where innovation meets craftsmanship to create bespoke, high-end aircraft interiors. We are building a talent pool of experienced Cabinet Installers for opportunities expected from late 2026 and into 2027.

Your mission

Your profile
