Zusammenfassung

ITech Consult AG in Zurich is seeking a highly qualified Business Unit Controller to act as a strategic financial partner for the BU, driving P&L, balance sheet integrity, and cash flow optimization. The role requires expertise in SAP FI/CO, and fluency in English, German, and French is a plus.

You will build financial models, lead planning, forecasting, and reporting to senior management while ensuring close alignment with BU leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifikationen

• Completed educational degree in Finance or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Financial controlling.
• Experience with monthly financial reporting to Senior management.
• Expertise in SAP FI/CO and other tools.
• Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills.

Aufgaben

• Drive P&L, balance sheet, and free cash flow performance with BU leadership.
• Prepare and communicate monthly financial reporting to senior management.
• Review and challenge project performance and evaluate risks/opportunities with BU Program Management.
• Conduct cost center reviews with BU leaders and identify cost-improvement opportunities.
• Understand cash flow dynamics and influence financial decisions across the organization.
• Lead financial planning and analysis including forecasting, budgeting, and business planning.
• Build financial models and business cases for internal initiatives (CAPEX) and external projects.
• Perform make-or-buy assessments and manage CAPEX processes.
• Support audits by preparing documentation and following up on actions.

For our customer, An Aerospace company based in Zurich we are looking for a highly qualified Business Unit Controller (f/m/d).

Background

In this interim role, you would act as a strategic financial partner for the Business Unit, driving financial performance, transparency, and consistency. Responsibilities include managing P&L, balance sheet, free cash flow, and conducting financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Act as sparring partner for the Business Unit in all financial matters
• Drive P&L, balance sheet, and free cash flow performance together with BU leadership. Control the business with key performance indicators that drive the success of the unit, providing high transparency and consistency
• Prepare and communicate monthly financial reporting to senior management, providing insights and recommendations.
• Review and challenge project performance and evaluate the risks and opportunities in close collaboration with BU Program Management.
• Conduct cost center reviews with the BU's functional leaders and evaluate cost-improvement opportunities.
• Understands the dynamics and dependencies of the cash flows of the units and has the influence into the organization to drive it
• Lead financial planning and analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and business planning.
• Build financial models and business cases for internal initiatives, including CAPEX, and external customer projects.
• Perform make-or-buy assessments and manage CAPEX processes.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing financial documentation, responding to audit requests, and following up on agreed actions.

Must Haves

• ? A Completed educational Degree in Finance or related field
