Die Schweizerische Post AG in Bern seeks a seasoned IT Business Analyst to shape the development of a critical coding solution at the IT, logistics and automated sorting interface, ensuring reliable Swiss-wide processing of consignments.

You will analyse requirements, coordinate changes between business, IT, operations and external partners, plan releases, run tests and ensure production readiness with the team.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in informatics, business informatics or related field with several years of IT operations experience.
• Ability to translate requirements into technical specs and liaise between business, operations and partners.
• Experience with complex systems, interfaces and asynchronous message flows; analyze error patterns using logs and monitoring data.
• Experience with tests and releases; ownership from analysis to implementation; knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, APIs, Kafka, MQTT, Splunk, Grafana and image/text recognition is a plus.
• Excellent German and English, independent, methodical, and active in agile teams.
• Willing to work regularly in Bern and at parcel center locations across Switzerland.

Aufgaben

• Analyze and document specialist and technical requirements and derive clear system requirements and specifications.
• Collaborate with specialist units, IT staff and software suppliers to develop feasible solutions and clarify interfaces, dependencies and impact on processes.
• Coordinate changes between business, IT, operations and external partners through to productive implementation.
• Plan releases, create test concepts and test cases, perform integration tests and ensure production readiness.
• Analyze incidents across systems, identify causes using logs and monitoring data, and devise sustainable solutions for stabilizing operations.
• Shape the technological development of our application landscape and leverage modern resources, including AI-enabled tools.
• Work with the team to ensure reliable operation and participate in day-to-day on-call services.
