Job summary

Fabasoft Group in Bern, Switzerland seeks an IT Consultant to lead customer projects, analyze needs and translate them into implementable concepts. You will drive digitization initiatives and coordinate with development teams in all project phases.

The role requires several years of IT project management experience, strong customer focus, and familiarity with Jira/Confluence and agile methods. A hybrid work setup and ongoing training opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• University degree in a relevant field and interest in digital environments.
• Multiple years of IT project management experience.
• Familiarity with business administration, records management, and digital file management desirable.
• Knowledge of Hermes PM method is an advantage and agile approaches (SCRUM) familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer projects in public and private sectors, ensuring scope, timelines, costs, quality and risk management.
• Record current state, develop solutions and implementation concepts.
• Moderate workshops and conduct trainings; create offers and participate in presales.
• Analyze customer needs to derive required business processes.

• You accompany customers on their way to digitization. This includes the recording of the current situation, the development of solutions and the creation of concepts for implementation
• You implement our solutions for customers in the public and private sector
• You plan, manage and lead customer projects according to deliverables, deadlines, costs, quality and risks, create status reports, identify deviations and are responsible for monitoring and reporting risks and opportunities
• You analyze customer needs and derive the required business processes from them
• You moderate workshops and conduct trainings
• You create offers and participate in presales activities

This Is Your Profile

• You have a university degree (preferably in computer science, business informatics, information science or comparable) and are very interested in and enjoy working for customers in the digital environment.
• You already have several years of experience in managing IT projects
• You have basic knowledge in the areas of business administration, records management and digital file management
• Ideally, you already have knowledge of the Hermes project management method (certification is an advantage) and are familiar with agile procedures (e.g. SCRUM).
• Your high customer orientation, independent and responsible work as well as analytical and conceptual skills complete your profile
• You are familiar with common tools such as Jira and Confluence and have experience working with agile teams
• You have a good command of written and spoken German, a good command of written and spoken French, English skills are an advantage
