Job summary

Finnova AG Bankware, based in Switzerland, seeks a Business Analyst for the agile Scrum team “Accounting, Booking System & Account Closing”. You will capture and translate complex banking requirements into epics and user stories, model data interfaces, and ensure business- and technically-feasible solutions with XML/SQL tooling.

You collaborate with Product Management and developers to drive central product development, act as the main liaison with customers and internal stakeholders, and help

• Completed higher education in business informatics, banking, or a comparable qualification with several years of professional experience in the financial sector.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in agile software development projects.
• Strong conceptual/analytical thinking and ability to translate customer requirements into clear business/technical specs.

This includes the "Core & Regulations" division, within which we are looking for a dedicated individual as a Business Analyst for the agile and specialised Scrum team "Accounting, Booking System & Account Closing". In this key role, you take responsibility for a central product and actively shape its further development. Together with Product Management and our interdisciplinary Scrum team, you analyse business requirements, develop customer-oriented solutions, and effectively contribute your ideas with targeted use of AI.

You are passionate about... analysing complex business requirements and developing viable concepts for their implementation. You ensure that solutions are business-consistent, technically feasible, and cleanly modelled capturing customer requirements and translating them into clear business and technical specifications, which you document in epics and user stories. This also includes elaborating interfaces, data models, and appropriate application configuration accompanying the entire delivery process, from reviewing requirements through testing and acceptance to the successful introduction of the solution at the banks acting as the central contact person between Product Owner, software development, and our customers. You ensure that all parties are on the same information level and actively drive business development forward.

You inspire us... with a completed higher education in business informatics, banking, or a comparable qualification with several years of professional experience and banking expertise your extensive expertise in the financial sector, preferably in accounting, booking systems, and account closing your proven experience as a Business Analyst in agile software development projects your strong conceptual and analytical working style your technical know-how to read XML files and create SQL evaluations, which serve as a basis for your analyses your excellent communication skills in dealing with a wide range of stakeholders, from customers and business units to software developers fluent German and English language skills.
