ALTEN Switzerland is seeking a Business Analyst to act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. You will conduct analyses, define requirements, and prepare functional specs, BRDs and user stories to support project delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Analyze business needs and ensure alignment with business objectives and IT strategy.
• Conduct business analyses, feasibility studies, and impact assessments to support decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to optimize, simplify, and redesign business processes.
• Advise stakeholders on suitable digital solutions and industry best practices.
• Support business teams in defining requirements and selecting appropriate solutions.
• Gather, document, analyze, prioritize, and validate business and functional requirements.
• Facilitate workshops and collaborative sessions with stakeholders and project teams.
• Prepare functional specifications, business requirements documents, and process documentation.
• Define and document use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure stakeholder validation and approval of business requirements.
• Contribute to the preparation of RFPs, Statements of Work (SOWs), and other project documentation.
• Develop and validate test scenarios and test cases with business users.
• Analyze the functional, organizational, and technical impacts of proposed solutions.
• Evaluate alternative solutions and provide well-founded recommendations.
• Ensure end-to-end traceability of requirements throughout all project phases.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Architects, Technical Teams, and External Suppliers.
• Support change management activities and assess organizational impacts.
• Prepare and facilitate business validation workshops.
• Participate in functional testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Support end users during solution deployment and implementation.
• Develop user guides, training materials, and functional documentation.
• Promote user adoption and contribute to the successful implementation of new solutions.
• Ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements, quality standards, and project objectives.

Profile:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst within an IT / Information Systems environment.
• Proven experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating business and functional requirements.
• Strong ability to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Experience conducting business analyses, feasibility studies, and impact assessments.
• Strong understanding of business process analysis, optimization, and continuous improvement.
• Proven track record of identifying opportunities to streamline and improve business operations.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into practical and effective technology solutions.
• Experience facilitating workshops, stakeholder meetings, and requirements-gathering sessions.
• Skilled in writing functional specifications, business requirements documents, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience supporting procurement activities, including RFP and Statement of Work (SOW) preparation.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience collaborating with Project Managers, Architects, Development Teams, and External Vendors.
• Knowledge of change management principles and user adoption practices.
• Experience supporting testing activities, including functional testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a project-driven environment.
• Experience working in the public sector.
• HERMES certification is mandatory
• French C2 and English B2 (spoken and written) are mandatory
