Alamosa School District Re-11-J is seeking a part-time staff member to assist with managing students in a safe manner within the transportation department. The role reports to the Transportation Director and requires duties related to student discipline on the bus, evacuation drills, and adherence to district policies.

Responsibilities include following dress code, attending in-service training, and performing other transportation-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifikationen

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to perform all duties of the job.
• Must maintain First Aid/CPR certificate.
• Transportation management has the right to hire buses aid through an interview process and upon Board approval.

Aufgaben

• Assist driver with student discipline on the bus and follow established student discipline procedures. Be firm, friendly and fair.
• Assist with evacuation drills as directed.
• Follow policies, procedures and rules governing all areas of transportation department.
• Attend all in-service training.
• Shall be neatly dressed and adhere to district dress code.
• Perform other duties related to transporting students as appointed by driver, including buckling, strapping and safety procedures.
• Work toward a team-building concept and maintain a cheerful, helpful and courteous attitude at all times.
• Attend regular staff and training meetings as required.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

• Part-time employment.Substituteassignmentonaneededbasisonly.
