Basel Area Business & Innovation, the economic promotion agency for the Basel Area, is seeking a Manager Brand & Content to shape and strengthen the regional brand and drive compelling narratives across channels.

You will translate business priorities into content plans with the Marketing team, turning complex topics into accurate stories while ensuring editorial quality in English and German. Flexible work options, including remote work, are offered.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience in brand and content marketing, ideally in a B2B environment.
• Experience in economic development, location marketing, innovation, or life sciences is a big plus.
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English and German.
• Strong digital content understanding across web, social media, newsletters and SEO, using data to optimize performance.
• High affinity for AI and practical experience using AI tools for content creation and marketing workflows.

Aufgaben

• Shape and strengthen the Basel Area brand, ensuring a consistent and compelling presence across Basel Area and endorsed brands.
• Develop and evolve our overarching content strategy, translating business priorities into relevant themes, narratives and content plans with the Marketing Managers.
• Turn complex topics into compelling stories and create high-impact content hands-on across channels, guiding colleagues in developing their own content.
• Orchestrate content across our channels, ensuring a coherent editorial approach across website, social media, newsletters and other touchpoints.
• Use data and insights to continuously improve content and channel performance, working with the Digital Marketing Manager.
• Shape how we work with content and AI, developing future content and channel setup and standards across marketing teams.
• Collaborate across the organisation, especially with marketing peers and business leads, and manage external partners when needed.
