Zusammenfassung

Work Selection sucht am Standort Rotkreuz eine/n Biospecimen Specialist für eine 12-monatige befristete Anstellung mit hoher Weiterführungschance. Sie arbeiten im BAM-Team und betreuen end-to-end Biorepository-Aktivitäten gemäß GxP‑Standards.

Sie verfügen über einen Life-Science-Abschluss (Bachelor/Master) mit 1–3 Jahren relevanter Erfahrung, sind sicher im Umgang mit biologischen Proben und haben solide IT-Kenntnisse. Englisch mind. B2; Hepatitis-Impfung vorteilhaft; körperliche Belastbarkeit.

Qualifikationen

• Life science Bachelor/Master oder gleichwertig mit 1–3 Jahren relevanter Erfahrung in Probengewinnung, Datenmanagement oder Biobanking.
• Erfahrung im Umgang mit biologischen Proben sowie Bereitschaft zur Arbeit mit potenziell infektiösem Material.
• Gute IT-Kenntnisse: Microsoft Office, Google Suite, sowie Erfahrung mit LIMS oder ähnlichen Systemen.

Aufgaben

• Biobank-Aktivitäten vom Eingang bis zur Lieferung der Proben koordinieren.
• End-to-end Projektmanagement im Biorepository.
• Zusammenarbeit mit Zulieferern, Import/Export-Compliance und lokalen Safety-Teams zur Einhaltung von Richtlinien.

Jobbeschreibung

As a first-tier supplier to our renowned business partner Roche Diagnostics in Rotkreuz, we are currently looking for a motivated and dedicated Biospecimen Specialist for a temporary assignment of 12 months, with high probability of extension.

The successful candidate will join the Biospecimen Acquisition and Management (BAM) team in Rotkreuz. BAM is a service organization with four teams situated across Europe and North America that leverages global capabilities with local support structures to drive integrated biological specimen solutions, accelerating the Roche Diagnostics strategy. The Biospecimen Specialist will manage end-to-end biorepository activities to fulfill customer specimen requests in compliance with local regulatory requirements, quality standards, business needs, and industry best practices.

Tasks und Responsibilities

Biorepository

• Manage and perform biological material processing, registration, shipment, returns, verification activities, retrievals, and inventory searches in a validated environment.
• Take accountability for end-to-end project management and biorepository management activities to fulfill customer specimen requests.
• Collaborate with relevant permitting agencies, import/export compliance, and local Safety and Biorepository Teams to comply with permit requirements.

Others

• Maintain compliance with BAM processes, including but not limited to the collection and maintenance of relevant documentation, as well as receipt and review of sample data to secure an accurate and complete sample and data set.
• Assume responsibility for accuracy, quality, and timeliness of work within supported projects, responding appropriately to changing priorities.
• Effectively interface with internal and external stakeholders to establish timelines and meet defined project goals.
• Maintain information in a validated laboratory information management system compliant with GxP principles and standards.

Must Haves

• Life science Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 1-3 years of relevant experience in sample acquisition, data management, or biobanking; OR Life science Master's degree or equivalent with initial experience in sample management, biobanking, or a related field.
• Experience in handling biological specimens as well as willingness to work with potentially infectious biological material.
• Strong IT skills: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Google Suite, and experience with LIMS or other validated systems.
• Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level).
• Available Hepatitis vaccination.
• Ability to physically lift 10 kg - 15 kg.

• Ability to follow detailed standard procedures and strong understanding of the concept of biospecimen traceability.
• Meticulous attention to detail, committed to ensuring the highest quality, accuracy, and timeliness of biospecimen deliverables.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Good interpersonal skills and proven ability to effectively manage diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to Haves

• Prior experience in the research, diagnostics, pharmaceutical, CRO, or medical device industry.
• Knowledge of German.
