Job summary

ITech Consult AG seeks a Biospecimen Specialist to join the BAM team in Rotkreuz. You will manage end-to-end biospecimen acquisition, data lifecycle in LIMS, and regulatory documentation to ensure quality and compliance across projects.

Ideal candidates bring life science degrees with 1–3 years in biobanking or sample management, strong SOP adherence, and English proficiency. Start ASAP with a 12+ month engagement in Rotkreuz.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in life sciences with 1–3 years in biospecimen acquisition, data management or biobanking.
• Hands-on experience with biological sample collection, handling, processing and tracking per SOPs.
• Proven ability to manage clinical trial operations from start-up to completion with timelines.
• Knowledge of global regulatory frameworks (FDA/EMA), GCP/ICH-GCP, IRBs/IECs and bioethics principles.
• Strong data privacy understanding per GDPR/HIPAA and related standards.
• Proficient in English (CEFR B2) for clinical documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end biospecimen acquisition and compliance, including scope of work, vendor quotes and MTAs.
• Manage biospecimen data lifecycle and LAB information management systems (LIMS).
• Oversee project timelines, stakeholder communication, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
• Maintain regulatory documentation in accordance with BAM procedures.
