Zusammenfassung

Givaudan in Vernier, Switzerland, is seeking a Bioprocess Specialist (m/f/d) to join the Fragrance Ingredients Industrialisation Department. You will help develop and scale biotechnological processes that create tomorrow's fragrance ingredients.

Reporting to the Biotechnology Laboratory Manager, you will bridge science, engineering and manufacturing, contributing to successful industrialization of fermentation and biocatalysis technologies and enabling efficient scale‑up.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Biochemistry, Life Science Tech, Bioengineering, or equivalent.
• 5–10 years of lab experience in industrial bioprocessing.
• Excellent fermentation knowledge and hands-on experience.
• Fluent in French or willing to learn; strong English proficiency.

Aufgaben

• Perform lab studies to develop and industrialize bioprocesses (fermentation, biocatalysis, DSP).
• Create, analyse and document experimental data to guide decisions with lab manager.
• Share knowledge and train colleagues as the biotechnology expert.
• Identify and solve technical challenges with cross-functional teams.
• Support pilot-scale trials and ensure transfer to industrial production.
