Lonza in Visp, Switzerland, is hiring for a site-based role within the Ibex manufacturing team. The position supports upstream or downstream manufacturing activities in a regulated environment and offers relocation assistance for eligible candidates.

You'll troubleshoot equipment, contribute to monitoring, safety initiatives, and CAPA, and help prepare manufacturing documentation. A background in life sciences and English fluency are required, with German as a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Education in Biotechnology, Biology, Biochemical Engineering, or related life sciences.
• Experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing, including microbial or mammalian cell culture and/or protein purification.
• Fluency in English; German language skills are an advantage.
• Willingness to work in a 4-shift operation.

Aufgaben

• Support upstream or downstream manufacturing activities in compliance with cGMP and safety requirements.
• Troubleshoot process equipment, evaluate results, and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Contribute to environmental monitoring, safety initiatives, and risk assessment activities.
• Prepare, review, and maintain manufacturing documentation, including batch records and SOPs.
• Support investigations, deviations, change controls, and CAPA activities.
• Participate in equipment commissioning and capital investment projects.
• Train and support manufacturing personnel on equipment operation and standard manufacturing practices.
