Zusammenfassung

Mercor is seeking experienced musicians to assess generative musical AI models for a partnership with a leading AI lab. You will evaluate model outputs across lyrics, voice generation, and other standards, and annotate songs with a detailed taxonomy.

The role requires a strong background in music production, audio engineering, and lyric writing, with fluency in French and English. The project is part-time (10+ hours/week), with an immediate start and a timeline of up to six months.

Qualifikationen

• Experience as a music producer, audio engineer, or sound mixer for 3+ years.
• Understanding of musical performance, theory, and lyrics.
• College degree in music covering performance, theory, and lyrics.
• Past experience writing lyrical music in the domain language listed in the title.

Aufgaben

• Evaluate AI model output lyrics, voice generation, and other standards.
• Score quality of musical training data.
• Rate AI-generated music samples head-to-head on musicality, creativity, prompt adherence, vocal quality, and production/mix quality, using audio-engineering terminology.
• Annotate songs in detail: genre/sub-genre classification, song structure, vocal/instrumental characteristics via a structured taxonomy.
