Boschung Mecatronic AG is seeking a Software Engineer to strengthen its Software R&D team in Payerne. You will design and implement backend microservices, model databases and drive CI/CD with the IT-Support team, while ensuring quality through tests and cross-functional reviews.

You will work with Java 8+ and Spring Boot, interact with PostgreSQL/MySQL and Cassandra, and explore Kubernetes, Docker, RabbitMQ and MQTT.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field with 3+ years of professional experience.
• Solid foundations of the Java 8+ ecosystem and Spring/Spring Boot framework.
• Experience in relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational Cassandra.

Aufgaben

• Conception and development of microservices.
• Database modeling.
• CI/CD in collaboration with the IT-Support team.
• Definition and implementation of tests.
• Corrective maintenance and evolution of existing components.
• Ensure backend development for current and future projects.
• Participate in cross-functional code reviews, including reviews of React frontend code, to ensure overall software quality, consistency and maintainability
