Job summary

TXT Group is seeking a Back-end Software Engineer to join the TXT E- SWISS team in Switzerland, contributing to the development of software applications for ground-based training systems.

Responsibilities include designing C++ modules, building Qt/QML interfaces, integrating components, and documenting progress in a highly international environment. English fluency is mandatory, with German knowledge seen as an asset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Mid-level professional with at least 3 years of software development experience.
• Experience with C++ software development and software integration activities.
• Familiarity with Qt/QML and Windows environments is a plus.

Job description

For the Aerospace & Defence Business Line, TXT E-SWISS is looking for a Back-end Software Engineer to join its team in Switzerland.

The selected candidate will be involved in the development of software applications for ground-based training systems, contributing to the delivery of advanced solutions supporting pilot training in a highly technological and international environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop software modules for ground-based training systems using C++;
• Develop user interfaces using Qt/QML;
• Integrate software modules and third-party components;
• Prepare and maintain project technical documentation;
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle.

Technical Requirements

• Experience in C++ software development;
• Experience in software integration activities;
• Good knowledge of software development best practices and debugging techniques.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Qt/QML;
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems;
• Knowledge of tools such as JIRA and Jenkins;
• Previous experience in the aerospace or aeronautical industry will be considered a plus.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Language Requirements

• English: Fluency is mandatory.
• German: Knowledge of German is considered a plus.
