Job summary

OnTarget Communications in Basel is seeking skilled B1 and B2 licensed engineers to work onsite with a leading aerospace organization. You will help ensure the safety, reliability, and performance of advanced aircraft systems and bring a strong hands-on maintenance background.

The role requires EASA Part-66, fluent English, and at least 5 years of base maintenance experience on fixed-wing aircraft or avionics, plus 2+ years as certifying staff on type aircraft.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of practical base maintenance experience on fixed-wing aircraft or avionics.
• Holder of EASA Part-66 license.
• Fluent in English.
• 2+ years experience as Certifying Staff on type aircraft.
• EASA License required; high-volume applications will be reviewed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as certifying staff for maintenance activities within the client's organization.
• Oversee completion of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks and review related work orders.
• Provide technical guidance, diagnose faults, and carry out corrective actions on aircraft.
• Document all maintenance activities and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with repair, engineering, and airworthiness teams to resolve maintenance matters.
• Support aircraft recovery operations and assist during AOG events when required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as certifying staff for maintenance activities within the client's organization

• Oversee the completion of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks, including the review and execution of related operational work orders

• Provide technical guidance, diagnose faults, and carry out corrective actions to resolve aircraft issues

• Document all maintenance activities accurately and ensure full compliance with applicable regulations and technical documentation

• Coordinate with internal component repair, engineering, and airworthiness departments to ensure timely resolution of maintenance matters

• Support aircraft recovery operations and assist customers during AOG events when required

Requirements

• 5+ years of practical experience in base maintenance on fixed-wing aircraft or avionics

• Holder of EASA Part‑66

• Fluent in English

• 2+ years experience as Certifying Staff on type aircraft

• Working knowledge of 145 MRO. and PO part 21 - Advantage
