MF Group AG is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, migrate, and operate Azure-based platforms from their Chiasso site with flexible working options. You will contribute to modernizing the infrastructure, improving reliability, and enabling scalable, secure cloud environments that support critical business systems.

The role emphasizes application and database migrations, automation, and high availability of production systems, with a focus on production readiness and security awareness.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Up to 3 years of experience, or strong interest, in Cloud Engineering—preferably with Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of Azure services, Kubernetes/AKS, databases.
• Eagerness to learn how to build and operate cloud platforms in production environments.
• Awareness of security, data protection, and compliance concepts (e.g. PII / GDPR) is a plus.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.

Aufgaben

• Support application and database migrations to Microsoft Azure (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Assist with the design, deployment, and operation of containerized workloads on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Contribute to the automation of cloud infrastructure and operational tasks using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Help monitor and optimize cloud platforms to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Support observability and monitoring initiatives to maintain stable and predictable platform operations.
• Contribute to infrastructure standards, best practices, and technical documentation.
