Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement avionics test capabilities within the Iron Bird Test Facility, supporting avionics rig integration and testing.
• Plan, execute and document rig tests, ensuring strict configuration control throughout testing activities.
• Establish, integrate and maintain distributed, large scale Data Acquisition Systems for electrical and mechanical rig testing.
• Support signal switching design, auxiliary power systems and the application and integration of sensors across test rigs.
• Integrate the Data Acquisition System with the data management environment, ensuring reliable acquisition and management of test data.

Our Ideal Candidate Should Have

• Proven experience in avionics testing, rig integration and test execution, ideally within an Iron Bird or comparable aerospace test environment.
• Strong experience with distributed, large scale Data Acquisition Systems, preferably imc CRONOS or comparable vehicle DAS solutions.
• Background in flight test instrumentation, sensor integration and measurement systems, with a deep understanding of measurement theory.
• Broad electrical engineering expertise, including measurement technology, data buses, EMC and PCB design.
• Strong sense of responsibility and ownership, with the ability to independently manage complex testing and integration activities.
