Job summary

PAVE Space SA seeks an experienced FPGA designer to shape the electronics of our next-generation avionics. You will decide where FPGAs belong in the architecture and carry your designs from concept to bench validation for high-reliability missions.

You’ll own the full FPGA flow—from architectural decisions and block diagrams to place-and-route, through verification and bring-up on real boards. This on-site role is based in Villeneuve (VD), with a hands-on, fast iteration culture.

Qualifications

• Several years FPGA design experience, ideally in high-reliability setting.
• Strong experience in simulation and verification of FPGA designs.
• Experience covering the whole flow, from architecture to place and route.
• Hands-on experience with FPGA board bring-up and debugging.
• Clear and effective communication in English.
• Nice to have: FPGA PCB design; familiarity with space standards; DSP or mixed-signal experience.

Responsibilities

• Define how FPGAs fit into our next-generation avionics architecture.
• Architecture and implement FPGA design, from first block diagram to place and route.
• Verification of your designs, and support for verification of the boards they run on.
• Contribute to our hardware-in-the-loop infrastructure.
