Job summary

Swissport Zurich is seeking personnel for aviation security and passenger screening and will strengthen our Checkport team at Zurich Airport. This part-time role (50–80%) includes training and shifts from early morning to late evening in a busy international airport environment.

The position requires a completed vocational training or high school diploma, excellent English (C1), German a plus (A2 for development), and willingness to work irregular shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• English: minimum C1 level required.
• German is a plus; A2 level required for development.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Willingness to work irregular shifts and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Manually search for prohibited items in aircraft cabins and on passengers.
• Guard aircraft and conduct checks on staff on the tarmac.
• Verify travel documents before boarding and interview passengers.
• Support accompanying unaccompanied minors as needed in later stages.
