Job summary

Avaloq in Switzerland is seeking an experienced Test Manager to lead quality assurance for our global wealth management platform. You will manage customer test campaigns, coordinate SIT and UAT, and work closely with client teams to ensure high-quality releases.

This role emphasizes hands-on testing, process improvement, and collaboration with developers and testers. A proactive, customer-oriented mindset and excellent English communication are essential in our hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with test management in agile development (banking domain a plus).
• Strong structuring, negotiation and problem-solving skills; technical ability.
• Experience with banking, Avaloq technologies.
• High empathy when working with clients and internal teams.
• Hands-on mentality, pragmatism and customer orientation.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Managing the customer's test campaigns (SIT) and act as the UAT contact.
• Test execution for SIT and defect resolution with other testers.
• Provision of test reporting for the customer and management.
• Monitoring of defect deliveries and coordination of the developer teams.
• Continuous improvement of the test approach and design of a sustainable testing framework.
• Planning automation test requirements.

We are looking for an experienced Test Manager to join our international team. This challenge will require a good ability to work in a team while been self-organized. We are looking for professionals with in-depth experience in quality assurance, who like to work proactively, contribute with ideas to the change process.

Your key tasks

• Managing the customer's test campaigns (responsibility for the SIT, contact person for the customer in the UAT)


• Test execution for SIT, issue resolution supporting other Testers


• Provision of test reporting for the customer and management


• Monitoring of defect deliveries and coordination of the developer teams


• Continuous improvement of the status quo and design of a complete and sustainable test approach


• Planning automation test requirements
