Job summary

ITech Consult AG in Zurich seeks a Senior Avaloq Engineer to integrate a new order management system and advance securities processing within a 50% DevOps-enabled role. The project targets increased STP and risk reduction in investments and pensions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Parameterize and extend portfolio management functions and master data extensions in Avaloq.

• Assist ongoing operations and troubleshoot malfunctions.

For a challenging banking project in the area of investments and pensions, we are looking for an experienced Avaloq DevOps Engineer. The focus is on integrating a new order management system and further developing securities processing. The goal is to increase the STP rate, reduce risks, and improve the quality of banking processes. Start date: January 1, 2027, in Zurich, 50% position for 12 months.

Project

For a challenging banking project in the area of investments and pensions, we are looking for an experienced Avaloq DevOps Engineer. The focus is on integrating a new order management system and further developing securities processing. The goal is to increase the STP rate, reduce risks, and improve the quality of banking processes. Start date: January 1, 2027, in Zurich, 50% position for 12 months.

Task:

• Parameterization and further development of portfolio management functions and master data extensions in Avaloq
• Development of event streaming interfaces to other systems
• Support and further development of Java-based software components
• Support for ongoing operations as well as analysis and resolution of malfunctions
• Contributing to quality improvements and the optimization of securities processing.
• Collaboration in an agile DevOps team according to SAFe and SCRUM

Requirements:

• At least 10 years of experience in Avaloq parameterization
• Knowledge of customer-specific Avaloq implementation
• Experience with agile development methods, ideally SAFe and SCRUM
• Knowledge of Java and interface development, especially event streaming
• Willingness to take on operational tasks within the framework of the DevOps approach
• Interest in the area of investments & retirement planning
• Analytical, structured work style as well as strong communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of Kafka/Event Streaming, interface integration as well as Avaloq Portfolio Management, master data and banking processes in the area of investments & retirement planning.
